RESUMEN

El HLA-G es una molécula HLA de clase I no clásica que se expresa preferentemente en células citotroblásticas y participa en la tolerancia y la supresión del sistema inmune. La expresión de HLA-G es inducida en infecciones virales, trastornos autoinmunes y cáncer. Actualmente, el antígeno HLA-G es considerado un biomarcador en el diagnóstico, pronóstico y terapia del cáncer.
