RESUMEN

La papilomatosis confluente y reticulada de Gougerot y Carteaud fue descrita por primera vez en 1927. Su etiología aún permanece incierta. Probablemente se trate de una enfermedad multifactorial debido a la respuesta clínica favorable obtenida con diversas terapias.
