Autoiatrogenia en el cirujano

RESUMEN

Objetivo: Mostrar los diferentes tipos de lesiones a las que está expuesto tanto el cirujano general y laparoscopista como de otras áreas quirúrgicas y personal afín a estas especialidades en la práctica cotidiana y desarrollo de su actividad en beneficio de los pacientes. Sede: Hospital de tercer nivel de atención. Diseño: Estudio de revisión observacional, sin análisis estadístico. Material y métodos: Revisión de la literatura, se analizaron 44 referencias que nos muestran las lesiones o daños que se presentan en las diferentes áreas de la práctica quirúrgica. Conclusión: El médico y particularmente el cirujano, deben estar alertas ante los potenciales peligros que conlleva la atención de cierto tipo de pacientes y extremar las precauciones para evitar en la medida de lo posible provocar cualquier tipo de daño.
