Herpes zóster en un lactante. Un caso con afección de varias dermatómeras en un inmunocompetente

RESUMEN

La aparición de herpes zóster (HZ) en un lactante sin antecedente de varicela es rara, y sucede cuando la madre ha tenido la enfermedad durante el embarazo. El herpes zóster que afecta varias dermatómeras no contiguas es excepcional, tanto en personas inmunocompetentes como inmunocomprometidas. Reportamos el caso de un bebé de 17 meses de edad, con un herpes multiplex unilateralis en dermatómeras no contiguas, previamente sano. Su madre tuvo varicela durante el tercer trimestre del embarazo.
