RESUMEN

La pericondritis auricular es un infrecuente proceso inflamatorio del pabellón auricular de causa microbiana o traumática, autoinmunitaria o tumoral; hay que tener presente una rara enfermedad autoinmunitaria con producción de anticuerpos anticolágeno tipo II asociada a padecimientos como la artritis reumatoide o lupus eritematoso sistémico.
