Fijación con placa de diseño anatómico en osteotomía tibial alta de cierre

RESUMEN

En este artículo se demuestra que la placa de diseño anatómico para fijar la osteotomía tibial alta de cierre es un implante confiable y seguro que brinda estabilidad; se describe la técnica e instrumental para realizar el procedimiento y se concluye en primer lugar que los resultados en una muestra de 52 pacientes, a 12 años de la operación con esta placa, son similares a los descritos en publicaciones donde se emplean técnicas y medios de fijación diferentes; y en segundo, que las fallas y complicaciones reportadas en esta muestra no son atribuibles al implante.
