RESUMEN

El pioderma gangrenoso es una dermatosis neutrofílica cuyo diagnóstico puede constituir un reto en la práctica clínica. Se describen las características clínicas e histológicas de siete casos de pioderma gangrenoso diagnosticados en dos centros hospitalarios de Medellín, Colombia. Las características clínicas concuerdan con lo descrito en la literatura, y en la biopsia, puede ser de utilidad la extensión del infiltrado neutrofílico para considerar el diagnóstico con respecto a otros.
