RESUMEN

Introducción: Se realiza una revisión del tema de estrechez o estenosis uretral desde el punto de su definición, la anatomía e histología uretral, fisiopatología, etiología, manifestaciones clínicas, diagnóstico, tratamiento, complicaciones, pronóstico y seguimiento. Objetivo: Brindar un material docente para los profesionales de la especialidad de Urología, adecuado, y con los últimos señalamientos sobre el tema.
