ABSTRACT

Introduction: The authors review the topic of urethral narrowing or stenosis from the point of its definition, urethral anatomy and histology, physiopathology, etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, complications, prognosis and follow-up. Objective: To offer a teaching material for the professionals of the specialty of Urology which is suitable and that has the last indications on the subject.
