Síndrome de Boerhaave: manejo mínimamente invasivo

RESUMEN

El síndrome de Boerhaave consiste en una ruptura esofágica longitudinal transmural espontánea de difícil diagnóstico con una alta mortalidad. El “gold standard” para el manejo se basa en la cirugía abierta por toracotomía, sin embargo; las terapias mínimamente invasivas han demostrado mejores resultados postoperatorios con una respectiva mejora en la morbimortalidad. Aun así, por la baja incidencia, su estudio es complejo y es necesaria mayor evidencia para el manejo óptimo de la enfermedad con recomendaciones establecidas.
