Dermatitis de contacto por parafenilenodiamina: una sensibilización con múltiples problemas

RESUMEN

Mujer de 52 años, ama de casa, a quien en los últimos diez años se le han practicado en tres ocasiones pruebas epicutáneas. En enero de 1993 la serie estándar y la serie de peluqueria por alergia a un tinte capilar; en marzo de 1996 la serie de calzado y finalmente en marzo del 2003 la serie textil por presentar eccema de contacto producido por unos pantalones. En los tres casos solo se obtuvo positividad a la parafenilenodiamina (PPD), sin ninguna reacción cruzada.
