ABSTRACT

A 52 year-old housewife, who during the last ten years, has been practiced three patch-tests. In Jannuary of 1993 the standard patch test with a hairdressing series due to a dye allergy, In March 1996 the footwear series and fi nally, in March of 2003 the textile series because she was suffering a contact eczema caused by a par of trousers.
In all three cases only a positive patch test to para-phenylenidiamine(PPD) was obtained with any crossed reaction.
