RESUMEN

La Erupción Polimórfica Lumínica (EPL) es una dermatosis relacionada con las radiaciones ultravioleta (UV), por lo que se presenta principalmente en sitios anatómicos expuestos al sol. Puede variar en morfología de un sujeto a otro, sin embargo, en el mismo paciente usualmente es monomorfa y la forma de presentación más común es la variante papular. Hay una mayor prevalencia de este trastorno en personas de piel clara y en mujeres, mientras que el clima y la latitud también son factores contribuyentes.
