Pseudoquiste pancréatico: opciones terapéuticas

RESUMEN

El pseudoquiste pancreático se presenta como complicación de patologías pancreáticas tanto agudas como crónicas. Las opciones terapéuticas para su drenaje incluyen la cistogastrostomía por laparotomía o laparoscópica, el drenaje percutáneo y el drenaje guiado por endoscopía. La determinación del abordaje terapéutico depende tanto de las características del paciente, como del pseudoquiste pancreático, con el objetivo de elegir la técnica más adecuada para lograr su resolución y resultados óptimos. El drenaje guiado por endoscopía ha cobrado importancia por sus favorables resultados, destacándose como el método estándar de oro.
