Aportes del proceso de enfermería y sistematización de la asistencia para la autonomía del enfermero

RESUMEN

Introducción: La enfermería ha enfrentado el desafío de romper la dependencia del modelo médico centrado en la búsqueda de una mayor autonomía profesional. Se discute la necesidad de basarse en sus propios conocimientos para hacer frente a los problemas de la salud y la enfermedad bajo su jurisdicción, utilizando metodologías apropiadas, tales como el proceso de enfermería y la sistematización de la atención.
Objetivo: Identificar las contribuciones del proceso de enfermería y la sistematización de la atención de enfermería a la autonomía profesional de la enfermera.
Métodos: Revisión integradora, en cinco pasos, de 10 artículos completos recogidos en LILACS, SciELO y PubMed en julio de 2016 por la expresión [(“professional autonomy”) AND (“nursing care” OR “nursing process” OR “systematization of nursing care”) AND NOT (“patient autonomy”)].
Conclusiones: El proceso de enfermería y la sistematización de la atención para establecer una práctica con el apoyo de un conocimiento específico de la enfermería, desconectando del modelo actual y definiendo su papel en la producción de salud y la dimensión social de la atención, puede promover la autonomía la enfermera.
