ABSTRACT

The rapid spread of the sars-cov-2 pandemic led to the suspension of activities at the Phototherapy Unit in our hospital in March 2020. Currently there are no well-established guidelines for the management of a phototherapy unit during the pandemic in our country, nor on how to reopen once resolved. Our aim is to share general recommendations as well as patient and personnel directed suggestions that are currently followed in our Phototherapy Unit to maintain safety measures and thereby reduce the risk of contagion.
