ABSTRACT

Violence against women has existed from time immemorial, probably in every country of the world. Different forms of aggression have been reported but domestic violence in the most common. The different types of aggression, their relation to time and the factors involved in this situation are analyzed in this study. A brief account of the international legal framework is given.
