ABSTRACT
Introduction: Bronchial carcinoid tumors are rare tumors and comprise less than 3% of lung tumors, generally curse asymptomatic. Low-grade tumors are often treated by circumferential or wedge bronchial resection, as they require minimal surgical margins.
Clinical case: We will present a retrospective analysis of a patient with a diagnosis of bronchial carcinoid tumor and its surgical approach.
Conclusion: Bronchial carcinoid tumors do not have an established clinical course. Its treatment should be individualized according to the characteristics of the tumor and its proximity to other thoracic structures.
