ABSTRACT

Introduction: in the field of Public Health in Mexico, the National Medical Arbitration Commission (CONAMED) and the Mexican Medical Arbitration Council (CMAM) intervene as mediators among the population dissatisfied with the health care received. In 2016, the electronic platform for the registration of medical complaints and opinions of the State Medical Arbitration Commissions (PRACEAM) was designed. Objective: the results of the activities of the CONAMED and the CEAM, registered in the PRACEAM in the period from January to December 2021 are presented. Material and methods: a descriptive and univariate analysis of the information, registered in the PRACEAM was carried out. Conclusion: the PRACEAM is today a computer tool that registers disconformities regarding the medical care received at the national level and its results contribute to the educational planning and intervention processes for health professionals and the population.
