ABSTRACT

The study on patients suffering from critical aortic stenosis (CAE) must be an elementary challenge to infirmary professionals because of this pathology increasing. Nowadays, the infirmary assistance process (IAP) constitutes the selected method to take care of these patients. This procedure, based upon Virginia Henderson’s theoretical model, was applied to a patient in the Adult “A” Cardiology Service during the mediate post-operative period; this case-study checking allowed to achieve patient’s elementary satisfaction and support from the infirmary staff in his rehabilitation period, as well as confirming IAP effectiveness.
