Conclusions: analyzing the news allowed us to have an objective view of the approach to the issue of donation and transplants by the Puebla newspapers, finding that the news is usually nonspecific and can superficially address the subject, highlighting spectacular stories such as multi-organ procurement and usually privilege the medical staff in the interview, leaving aside the vision of the family member. On the other hand, there is a clear relationship between the number of news items published in the State of Puebla and the donations and transplants carried out there, so collaboration with the media is essential to encourage the culture of donation.REFERENCES
