Body, the look, voice and virtuality. a subjectivity affectef of young college population

ABSTRACT

The present work has as an objective to reflect about the effects of the growth of virtuality since the COVID-19 pandemic, where many students refused to have their cameras on during classes. To Reflect about the place of the Real in the look, with the split of the eye that the look implies within its exteriority (object) and interiority: the eye (organ) and its relationship to the virtuality and anguish. Because the organ of perception is the eye and the perception its produced in the eye. However, phenomenologically the subject has the illusion to “see outside”. To reflect about “the look that is looked, that surprises, that criticizes, that diminishes, that affects, that harms”. Apparently is not a look that is found, is not a look that can be seen, but an imagined look by each one in the field of the Other. The look that in the field of required and demanded virtuality has discovered multiple ghosts locked-in in the imaginary of the subject that affects its narcissism and its relationship to the Other and others. Fear and anguish, desire and enjoyment melt together to create new phobic situations, perverse or melancholic.
