ABSTRACT

Since February 1999, we started the program to treat cardiac defects with Amplatzer occluders. We have treated 118 patients with atrial septal defect, 182 patients with patent ductus arteriosus, 11 with hypertensive arterial duct treated with the ventricular septal occluder, and 7 patients with ventricular septal defect. In this communication we detail our results with these devices.
