ABSTRACT
Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection is a complication in kidney transplant patients. It presents in the first year post-transplant and when it appears it has complications in the patient and the graft, and it presents in the form of CMV infection or disease. Universal prophylaxis and advance therapy have decreased the risk of CMV. Aspergillus spp. infections are mainly pulmonary invasive. Aspergillosis is a diagnostic and therapeutic problem in transplant patients. The determination of the galactomannan antigen of Aspergillus spp. is useful in early diagnosis.REFERENCES
