Hospital Angeles Chihuahua runs a hand hygiene program as part of the infection prevention and control system, which is strengthened by the technological gadget ATP Complete^®, which can monitor contamination by detecting luminescence units (UL) with an approbatory result of < 200. A longitudinal study was executed through an aleatory inspection of the staff's hands in two different moments. On such occasions, the program evaluations were above 90%; no statistical significance demonstrated that the average of UL detected was from 110 UL in 2022 versus 135 UL in 2023. This being stated, the good, sustained hand hygiene practice is well evidenced.
