ABSTRACT

Neurothekeomas are benign tumors arising from a fibrohystiocytic component that appear commonly in the head and neck. It commonly affects more females than males in their second to third decade of life. Diagnosis is based on histopathology report and is classified into three groups based on cellularity, mucin content and growth pattern. Local recurrences may be seen after incomplete resection. No malignant potential has been reported.
