ABSTRACT

In this issue we present the surgical technique for Laparoscopic “V” Fundoplication, practiced on 150 patients by a surgical group only, reaching excellent results in regard to resolution of gastroesophagical reflux, by anatomical and physiological reconstruction of Esophagical Hiatus. We noticed considerable decrease of postsurgical side effects, frequently observed after antireflux surgery by other procedures, when they happened, were resolved in a short time, but not side effects free. There were not deaths, just one reoperation and nine convertions to open surgery.
