ABSTRACT
Abdominal diastasis recti is a frequent clinical entity, it is diagnosed when there is an abnormal separation between, the muscles, ideally greater than 2 centimeters with frequent association with umbilical hernia. Repair of these defects represent a surgical challenge, because there is no consensus as to which technique to use, being more common through abdominoplasty or miniabdominoplasty associated with a periumbilical incision or inverted T approach. We present the cafe of a patient, where the approach with the minimally invasive pre-aponeurotic endoscopic repair technique is used presenting fewer complication and better aesthetic result, in such a way that this technique ca be a very good option for this disease.
