ABSTRACT
We present a newborn who was treated in an Intensive Care Unit, who suddenly presented desaturation secondary to right pneumothorax, which was detected by lung ultrasound, but was not evident in the anteroposterior chest X-ray. Later, the presence of pneumothorax was confirmed in a lateral chest X-ray.
