ABSTRACT

The leukocyte adhesion deficiency syndrome is a rare entity characterized by granulocytic functional alterations related to its adhesion, chemotaxis and phagocytosis of opsonized microorganisms. The children have chronic infections diseases and slow scaring of wounded by these reason use to be a late detachment of the umbilical cord, absence of pus in the local lesions: in spite of the leukocytosis. Here is presented a case of an three months age infant discussing the findings in regard to the information in cases reported.
