ABSTRACT

Cutaneous metastases are rare and often portend aggressive malignancy and poor prognosis. The clinical case of a 58-year-old male patient with a history of pleural tuberculosis, type 2 diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension and smoking for 20 years with a packyear index of 26 is presented. The physical examination revealed chronic disseminated dermatosis to the scalp, face and groin characterized by five erythematous-violaceous nodules between 2 and 4 cm in diameter, with regular, defined edges, with an ulcerated center, one of them bleeding and the other with purulent secretion. A skin biopsy was performed on two lesions, where skin metastasis compatible with adenocarcinoma was confirmed.
