ABSTRACT
Vulvodynia is a multifactorial condition, characterized by pain in
the vulvar area that can modify daily life. Different diseases can
be associated, although reactive or allergic or mechanical inflammation
must be highlighted as relevant factors. The therapy so far
has been somewhat disappointing. We propose cryosurgery as a
non-freezing technique, applied weekly for six weeks, as a lasting
solution. We suggest including this technique due to the good results
in this preliminary study.
