ABSTRACT
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease with skin involvement in 70-80% of cases, manifesting as acute, subacute, or chronic cutaneous lupus. We report a 20-year-old woman with symmetrical skin lesions diagnosed with subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (SCLE). This subtype, common in women aged 15 to 65, typically presents with lesions in photoexposed areas. Early detection of scle is crucial to potentially prevent progression to sle, enabling timely management and complication prevention. Close monitoring is recommended for patients with active disease.REFERENCES
