ABSTRACT
Cutaneous myxomas are rare benign neoplasms composed of a myxoid matrix. They can occur sporadically or associated with syndromes such as "Carney complex". Due to the variability of the clinical presentation, a histopathological study is necessary to confirm the diagnosis. Treatment is by surgical excision. In this article we present the case of a 34 years old male patient with a surgically resected cutaneous myxoma localed in the anterior thorax.
