ABSTRACT

Vestibuloplasty is a surgical modification of the mucogingival junction to modify the vestibular depth. At the moment, perform this procedure together with a free gingival graft, which is the gold standard to gain keratinized tissue, results in a favorable increase in the length of the vestibule depth and in the width of the keratinized gingiva, providing great benefits for rehabilitation by a muco-supported or implant-supported prosthesis. A case report of a male patient with total edentulousness in the maxilla is made, who comes for the modification of the depth of the vestibule. The procedure was carried out using Clark's technique with a free gingival graft collected from the patient's palate. The results were evaluated six weeks after the surgical intervention, observing favorable dimensional changes.
