As members of the scientific community, we know that the potential impact of a manuscript directly correlates with the visibility of the Journal it is published in.
The diffusion of scientific information, restricted in the past to the purchase of a printed volume, has been irreversibly displaced to open access by electronic means. Aware of this, the publication policy of Revista Latinoamericana de Microbiologia has evolved accordingly.
