ABSTRACT

Introduction: myofibroma is defined as a benign neoplasm. It can occur at any age and is most common in the head and neck. It is characterized as an increased volume, occasionally accompanied by an intraoral soft tissue mass. Objectives: to determine the causes of accelerated growth of myofibroma in a short time. Clinical case: female patient aged five years six months with a history of mandibular myofibroma on the right side, absence of temporary and permanent dental organs of the right lower arch. Conclusions: all patients present a different diagnosis.
