ABSTRACT

The theoretical models are a set of interrelated concepts that allow understanding, applying and explaining the infirmary practice and care help to organize, analyze and process the patient’s data and make an infirmary diagnosis, facilitate the decision making and favor the planning, execution and evaluation of the care. With the theoretical models, the nurse guarantees a common language between professionals and their conceptions with respect to the following concepts: person, health, surroundings and infirmary, this is absolute necessary that the professional of infirmary knows.
