ABSTRACT

A 71-year-old female patient suffered a fall from her support plane onto her right arm, presenting with acute pain, limited mobility, muscle weakness, and an analgesic position. An X-ray and computed tomography scan of the shoulder were requested. A complete oblique cortical discontinuity was identified at the anterior inferomedial border of the glenoid fossa, along with perilesional soft tissue edema and acromioclavicular osteoarthritis.
