ABSTRACT

Disciplinary methods used at home represent a critical component of children’s educational practices, significantly influencing behavioral outcomes, emotional development, and the dynamics of parent-child relationships. Understanding the effectiveness of various disciplinary approaches is essential for both parents and health professionals, as these methods impact not only immediate behavior but also children’s long-term psychological and relational trajectories. The complexity of disciplinary strategies varies by authority style, ranging from permissiveness to neglect, with each method promoting specific behavioral patterns and responses in children.
