The presence of myasthenia gravis is exceptional in patients with thymic carcinoma and it’s relationship implies a different handling. In this article we present the case of a 38-year-old female with thymic carcinoma, who underwent an extended transesternal thymectomy with mediastinal lymphadenectomy. During the post-surgical period, the patient develops a torpid evolution with symptoms of myasthenia gravis.
