ABSTRACT
Jorge Flores Espinosa was an extraordinary physician, clinical investigator and teacher at the National School of Medicine who influenced the practice of Gastroenterology in Mexico in the second half of the Twentieth Century. His work on auto-urotherapy, portal circulation, and cirrhosis was outstanding.
