Unilateral latero-thoracic exanthema: is it a new disease?

ABSTRACT
The unilateral latero thoracic exanthema, also known as asymetric periflexural exanthema is characterized by erithematous papular ruption pruriginosus of unknown etiology. The evidence suggests viral etiology. In characteristic form is presented in a one side of the thorax and progress in centrifugal form in the same side of the body, is characteristic of this exanthema to respect palms and plants and after appears in opposite side of the thorax to disappear without sequelae in a period of 4 to 6 weeks.REFERENCES
