ABSTRACT
The endodontic obturation system with Resilon, has been recently introduced to the market. This is based in a product of the same name made of a thermoplastic synthetic polymer. This system contains cones, sealer and adhesive, achieving in this way a monoblock consisting of the root and the endodontic filling material. The purpose of this article is to describe the technique of this new system, by means of a literature review and the presentation of case reports. Three case reports: one involving a necrotic pulp and periapical lesion, another one dealing with irreversible pulpitis, and the last one about a re-treatment. Nowadays, this new product is presented as a possible substitute of the golden standard: Guttapercha.
