ABSTRACT

C1ínical effectivity of two brand names of citrate fentanyl (Fenodid vs. Fentanest) was compared in 20 patIents who were submitted to laparoscopic surgeries in a double blind study. The total intravenous anesthesia used was (Fentanyl + Propofol + Vecuronio). The Biespectral index (BIS) was the anesthetic depth parameter used.The patients BIS were kept around 60 and 40. Fentanyl consumption was de same in both groups. There fore, it is concluded that there is no difference in c1inical effectivity between Fenodid and Fentanest.
