ABSTRACT
The internal dental resorption is a pulpar pathology due to an inflammatory process of the dental-pulp complex, of diverse etiology, which generally progresses as asymptomatic and can only be detected through X Rays. Its radiographic findings include; an increase in the diameter of the pulp chamber or radicular canal. Nevertheless, in some cases, this pathology presents communication to the periodontium where clinical manifestations may be found, as are inflammation of the gum, fistulas, and in some cases, pink discoloration of the crown. Due to the nature and evolution of this pathology, the endodontic procedure for cleansing, conforming, and three-dimensional sealing may turn to be a complicated procedure. In this report we present the non-surgical treatment of a clinical case of internal dental resorption communicating with the periodontium.REFERENCES
