ABSTRACT

Nowadays, the influence of anglicisms in our language is increasing day by day. That is to say, not only in our colloquial expressions but in our medical and dental terminology as well. The use of anglicisms in our vocabulary is due to snobism and/or to a sense of inferiority towards the english language. Damaging our language with totally inadequate words and sometimes even with inexistent words in either language. It is suggested to use words in Spanish as the richness of our language generally does not require of anglicisms.
