ABSTRACT

Among the organochlorine pesticides, due to their properties of biomagnification in the food chain, the major importances are DDT and Lindane. Their entry routs to the human body comprise the ingestion of contaminated food and the inhalation of their vapors. The monitoring study of human tissues supplies databases of accumulated doses during the time through all environmental routs. Adipose tissues have been selected as suitable due to the great capacity to accumulate these persistent pesticides as a consequence of their high of neutral fat content.
