ABSTRACT

The cloverleaf skull (Kleeblattschädel syndrome) is a variety of craniosynostosis where the shape of the skull seems a clover of tree leaves. It is one of the most frequent syndromes of malformation of the skull (the other are Pfeiffer syndrome type 2 and the Thanatophoric Dysplasia type 2). This cases are frequently associated with other malformations, for this reason here is reported a newborne with the Kleeblattschädel syndrome which required a comprehensive clinical management for it’s treatment and genetic counseling.
