ABSTRACT

Surfactant replacement therapy has proven role in the treatment of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome and may have a role in the treatment of meconium aspiration syndrome in neonates. In this report is presented the case of neonate with meconium aspiration syndrome treated with surfactant.
